Mr Thuvinder Singh s/o Bachan Singh
Mr Thuvinder Singh is currently a NTUC Central Committee Member and is the General Secretary of the Union of Telecoms Employees of Singapore (UTES). He has been involved in several committees, which include the NTUC Employment & Employability Committee, NTUC Industrial Relations Committee and NTUC International Relations Committee.
Mr Singh received the Comrade of Labour Award in 2015, as he supported the call by the Labour Movement and helped to implement the Progressive Wage Model (PWM). This helps to increase the productivity and skills of the workers, in turn raising their wages.
